Lovely little cafe/greasy spoon (although this restaurant doesn’t deserve the sometimes negative perception of the phrase greasy spoon) The vibe was great and the food options were fantastic - I got the Scottish breakfast (can’t remember the exact name) but it was all perfectly cooked and really tasty. Strongly recommend.

Went on a Saturday, great hangover cure, hearty breakfast and nice selection of unique things like pastrami sandwiches. The coffee was excellent, cheap and recommend the filter coffee. My pastrami sandwich was ok, bread was decent but no mustard / lack of sauce was disappointing, and the actual pastrami was more like pulled pork. But overall a great place for breakfast. We did wait about an hour, but the guy sorting out tables was very organised. You put your name down and he gives you an estimated time to come back.

The best breakfast I have ever had! The service was great Halle was our waitress & she was so lovely, kind & made sure we had everything we needed! Breakfast was amazing! Definitely be back the next time I’m in Manchester.

About a 30mn wait for a table on Sat and Sun this weekend which is fine. Hostess very friendly. Food came within a reasonable time 15mns. Drinks took longer than food. My filter coffee took 25mns so I thought they'd forgotten it. Orangina also took 20mns; the waffles came first! RUDE WAITRESS when it came to pay. We asked to pay and take the service charge off as it said "opt" for optional on the bill as obviously we're just out for breakfas. Service charge is also always a choice. The waitress went to take it off the bill and came back and thrust the card machine in our face and we tried to say thank you and she walked off, visibly in a mood at us. Left a very sour taste in my mouth. I'm sure she's not representative of all the staff but tipping for brunch is 1. A choice 2. Not customary regardless

I walked in, then straight back out...you want me to listen to BBC radio and news bulletins whilst overpaying for an average breakfast? I think not....no staff to be seen either...

Pretty disappointing to be honest. Service was friendly enough but the food was pretty average. We had the Irish and English breakfasts and neither were great. The Irish in particular was dry and lacking taste. Also felt the portions were a bit light for the price. And the soda bread didn’t bear any resemblance to what I’ve always had in Ireland - my granny wouldn’t have approved. Expected better to be honest - had much much better in lots of places.

Absolutely loved it the food was phenomenal I have not had a fry up like that for a long time it was so good the service were kind and welcoming the atmosphere was also really nice

Loved it here because of Caitlyn, she was so knowledgeable about the local areas and the places to go and I felt like I was talking to a real Mancunian!! She stayed and chatted with us and explained the menu in detail for us - we’re really indecisive!! Absolutely lovely girl !!

Food is cooked fresh to order and you can tell. Decided to go with the American pancake stack and it was amazing. The portion may look a little small however it is amazing value for money. £12 for fresh hot pancakes, herby sausage patty and crispy hashbrown. The only downside is the atmosphere was a bit dead but I’m blaming this on the time of day I went - it was still very inviting and comfortable and unfortunately the sausage patty was over seasoned but I truly think this is just my own taste !! is amazing though

Found this place on the Happy Cow app, so took a trip to go here, got the Vegan Pancakes and a coffee, the service was table service, the staff were lovely and helpful. A great diner to kick start your day!

So the opening hours state they’re open until 10pm. The first occasion we arrived at 9:10 from Liverpool and were told the kitchen closed early. We’ve come again today from Liverpool, spent £30 on train tickets and after arriving at 8:50 we’re told “drinks only sorry, you’ve got to be seated at 8:45” when it doesn’t state that anywhere online. Asked to speak to the manager and explained we’ve travelled from Liverpool only to get “sorry, I’ll take your email”. We’ve been a couple of times and had great service, after these last two occasions I don’t know if we’ll be back. The tacos are nice but it’s not worth wasting £30 to come to a restaurant for them to not be bothered at all and state they have nothing to do with the online opening hours

Really great vegan brunch / vegan fry up. Best tofu scramble I've ever had. Reasonably priced. Cheap drinks, including a vegan bloody mary which was great. Would highly recommend for vegans.
